Kola Karim

Chairman

Kola Karim is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of SNRL. Kola also Chairs the Board of SNRL’s parent company, Shoreline , a leading industrial group focused on Infrastructure , Energy and Infrastructure related investments in Sub Saharan Africa. Over the last 3 decades, Shoreline has grown to become the preferred joint venture partner in Africa for companies within its target sectors, its operating companies include Mota Nigeria limited a leading construction company, DBN Energies, a specialist EPC contractor to the oil and Gas Industry and Shoreline Power Company, a leading power generation company.

Kola balances his business interests with a passion for Law, the Environment and contributing to development and education across the continent. Awarded an LLM Masters of Laws in international business Law with a focus on environmental practices, he has championed a pan African agenda at the Harvard Centre for African Studies where he sits on the advisory board with a specific focus on building a Pan African resource center with an initial center launched in South Africa in 2017. Kola also serves on the Africa Advisory board of the London Stock Exchange and is a Young Global Leader Award Honoree (2008), a pioneer and an active member of the Global Agenda Council on Emerging Multinationals of the World Economic Forum.

Tunde Karim

Managing Director

Alongside his position on the Board of SNRL, Tunde Karim currently serves as Managing Director of the company. He has over 20 years of experience within the Nigerian Oil and Gas industry including leading operating and investment teams within the Gulf of Guinea and across Sub-Saharan Africa. During the last two decades, Tunde has developed an extensive network amongst the various stakeholders in the Nigerian oil and gas industry including regulatory bodies, operators, traders, and service providers, these relationships provide him with a unique insight that enables him successfully navigate the complexities of the Nigerian energy industry on behalf of SNRL.

Tunde also serves on the board of various companies within the Shoreline Group and has been instrumental in the development of the group over the last 3 decades. Tunde holds a degree in Biochemical Engineering B.Eng (Hons) from the University College of Wales, Swansea, a Post Graduate Diploma, Entrepreneur Practice from the University of Wales Glamorgan, Treforest, South Glamorgan and MSc in Sports Directorship from the University of Manchester. He is a fellow of the Institute of Directors, Nigeria.

Yinka Karim

Director

Mr. Olayinka Karim (Yinka) has extensive experience in the technical development and leadership of engineering teams focused on the rapid delivery of new products and services within the Construction and Power Sectors including electrical power hardware, execution of electrical projects, installations and maintenance of diesel engine generator from 27KVA-20MW power controls, erection of all electrical outdoor equipment, panel transformers line. Yinka has had more than 20 years of leading over 6,000 employees through requirements analysis, design, development and implementation which has been of significant impact on the civil engineering industry. Yinka’s professional milestones include the rehabilitation and installation of Navigational Equipment on board Nigerian Navy Warships, which entails purely Electrical/Electronics systems with a high-security status for Nigeria, supervision of the installation of a 2MW Generating Set for a Vegetable Manufacturing Company from Broadcrown Generators in the UK, supervision of the installation of a 15MVA IPP (power plant) for foremost Cement Company in Shagamu, Ogun State and led the Refurbishment team of all electrical installation for one of the major Nigerian Ports.

Ado Oseragbaje

Director

Ado brings twenty-five years of global leadership experience in the oil and gas business and joins Heritage from Baker Hughes where he was Vice President covering Sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to working for Baker Hughes, he held executive roles with Schlumberger across the world. Ado holds a master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College and a Diploma in Real-Time Oilfield Project Management from Heliot-Watt University.

Guido Michelotti

Director

Mr. Michelotti has over 40 years of international experience in the oil & gas industry and a unique first-hand knowledge of nearly all segments of the upstream business, from negotiation of petroleum contracts to exploration, development, joint venture governance and asset management.

A reservoir engineer by education, he spent most of his professional career with Eni where he grew through the ranks and held a number of positions at a senior executive level, managing multi-billion-dollar assets and overseeing major capital projects, world-wide exploration, research and technology innovation. He has worked and lived in many countries across four continents.

Since leaving Eni in 2013, Mr. Michelotti served in a variety of roles including COO of a Luxembourg-based investment fund, CEO of Cadogan Petroleum Plc, an independent, UK listed oil company, Non-Executive Director of Proger Spa, an international, Rome-based engineering and project management contractor, and advisor to the energy practice of the Boston Consulting Group. He is currently a non-executive director of Heritage Oil Limited, after serving as its Executive Chairman for one and half years.

Mr. Michelotti is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, a former Director of its Swiss section and a former member of its Industry Advisory Council; he is also a member of the Geneva Energy Forum. He holds a Degree in Mining/Petroleum Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Turin.
